Whole Foods Debuts Locally-Focused Wyoming Store

Whole Foods Market has opened its latest location in Jackson, Wyoming. The store features a produce department that includes local offerings from Vertical Harvest Farms and Alpenglow Farm; a full-service butcher with beef from Lockhart Cattle Co., pork from Haderlie Farms, and smoked sausage from Bovine & Swine; and a seafood counter offering $1 oysters every Friday shucked by an in-store fishmonger.

Other store offerings include a variety of cheeses overseen by an in-store cheesemonger, an extensive collection of nearly 300 beers, a bakery department offering custom cakes, and a specialty food section featuring local honey from Rocky Mountain Honey and coffee from Great Northern Coffee. In total, there are more than 500 local products throughout the store from more than 160 local suppliers.

To celebrate joining the Jackson community, Whole Foods Market will donate $25,000 to the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole and become a co-challenger for the 25th Annual Old Bill’s Fun Run in support of local nonprofits.
